Personal Identification Information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, place an order, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, information on customer incentives, credit/debit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
To enable payment when you make a purchase through the Site, we collect and store billing and debit/credit card information. This information will only be shared with third parties who perform tasks required to complete the purchase transaction. Examples of this include fulfilling orders and processing debit/credit card payments.
Non-Personal Identification Information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users’ means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

How We Use Collected Information
As part of its Services (including the Alliance for International Risk Research Executive Bulletin) we may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
- To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
- To improve our Site: We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

We may use the e-mail address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. Users may receive e-mails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future e-mails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each e-mail.
Storage and Processing of Your Information
Your information collected through the Site may be stored and processed in the USA or any other country in which GIFR, its parent, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities. GIFR may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal identification information, to other facilities that we may use, which may be located outside your country or jurisdiction and in other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from (and may be stricter than) the law of the USA, please note that we may transfer information to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you expressly consent to the terms of this paragraph.
How We Protect Your Information
We strive to adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site; however, technology is always changing and we cannot guarantee that our system is completely secure in all instances.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes.
Log File Information, Device Identifiers, and Metadata
When you use the Site, our servers automatically record certain log file information, including your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links in the Site, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. We may also collect similar information from e-mails sent to our Users which then help us track which e-mails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients.
When you use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access the Site, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers.” Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by GIFR. We may use your log file information, device identifiers, and/or your metadata to update the Site, or to run promotions.
Who May Use This Site
The Site is not intended or designed to attract Users under the age of 13. Only people age 13 or older are permitted to register as a User. If you are under 13, do not send us or make available any personal identification information and do not attempt to register as a User. Parents and guardians are asked to instruct their children under age 13 not to provide any personal identification information, including through the “contact us” link on our Site. Parents and guardians are asked to instruct their children under age 13 not to register or attempt to register to become a User.
GIFR does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal identification information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. The Site is intended for use in the United States of America (USA) only, and in any event may not be used in any jurisdiction or country where such use would be a violation of law or regulation or would require GIFR to register in such jurisdiction or country. GIFR makes no representation that the Services and Content (as defined in the Terms & Conditions) are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the USA. Access may not be legal by certain persons in certain countries. By using the Site, you agree to not access the Site from territories where the Site is illegal or prohibited.
We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Site. These tools collect information sent by your device, including the web pages you visit (even if you use a “do not track” signal or instruction), add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving our Services. When we collect this analytics information, and before we use it, it is aggregated with the information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own Privacy Policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for such external websites or resources, and we do not endorse any such website, its use or contents and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such websites or resources. You agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, viruses or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on such external websites or resources.
