The Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk-21, Version 3 (WAVR-21) is a 21-item coded instrument for the structured assessment of workplace and campus targeted violence risk. Containing both static and dynamic risk factors the WAVR-21 can be used to accurately and reliably identify and assess the risk, frequency, and severity of both homicidal and non-homicidal aggression such as stalking, disruptive anger problems, menacing behavior, and bullying. The WAVR-21 may be used by the members of multi-disciplinary threat assessment and management (TAM) teams who typically work in organizations, as well as by risk assessment mental health professionals who consult or conduct formal assessments in work or campus settings. Workplace violence security consultants will also find the WAVR-21 helpful, as will law enforcement professionals who assist the organizations in their communities. Presented by the developers of the WAVR-21 and offered exclusively through the Global Institute of Forensic Research, this live and interactive workshop will train you in the use of the WAVR-21 while earning 3 hours of valuable Continuing Education Credit.
More cost-effective and time-efficient than attending an in-person workshop but covering the same content, this innovative live training is the first-of-its-kind.
